Direct Printing |
Direct Printing allows for the printing of high quality images directly onto almost any substrate. Through Direct Printing (also known as flatbed printing), we can print directly to standard substrates like Foamcore, Gatorboard, Ultraboard, and Jetmount. In addition, we can print directly on atypical substrates like Plexiglass and acrylics, metals like aluminum and steel, and even directly onto doors, carpet, or anything else that will fit onto the flatbed printer. This printer uses UV inks so they are very resistant to fading outdoors.
A large flatbed printer using UV printing technology is used, which allows for printing onto almost any substrate that is 4’ x 8’ x 2” or smaller. Printing can be on materials such as Foamcore, Gatorboard, Coraplast, Plexiglas, carpet, wood, metal, and much, much more. Since it is printed using UV technology, it is very durable and fade resistant for booth indoor and outdoor applications. | Large Format Display Printing | We use the Epson 9000 for the vast majority of our display and tradeshow clients. The Epson 9000 offers print sizes up to 43" wide by any reasonable length. It supports resolutions up to 1400 dpi and can print on a variety of materials including matte, gloss, vinyl and canvas. It's PostScript RIP allows files to be printed from the most popular graphics applications, such as Quark™, InDesign™, Illustrator™, FreeHand™ and PhotoShop™. |
| Grand Format Outdoor Printing | With the use of a solvent-based printer, we offer prints suitable for outdoor use for up to three years! Outdoor printing materials include 13 oz. heavyweight vinyl, adhesive-backed vinyl, perforated window vision clear with adhesive backing, clear static cling vinyl, as well as textile printing on a variety of fabrics. The solvent based printer supports printing up to 80" wide. |
| Fine Arts and Giclée Printing | The Epson 9600 offers similar size and resolution capbilities as the 9000, but has the additional advantage of long life without fading. The 9600 with the UltraChrome ink offers a print life of up to 82 years, making it ideal for fine arts applications and direct light environments. The 9600 supports Tiff, JPEG, and PDF file formats. |
| Green Printing Materials | The printing and graphics industry has made tremendous advancements in being ecologically sound. In the past 20 years, many of the chemicals such as Benzyne, firm developers, and the chemicals used in paints and markers have all but been eliminated thanks to the digital age. Now, there are certain materials used for digital output that are recyclable, biodegradable, or are made from recycled products.
